Suyama-guchi snow hiking

The image that visiting Mt. Fuji is only for summertime is probably shared by many Japanese people, but it seems to be about time for this image to be changed. Aiming to summit Mt. Fuji during the winter means entering a world of snow-mountain climbing that is accompanied by a high level of danger. Nevertheless, the mountainside course starting at Mizukazuka Park that is introduced here is physically much easier than climbing Mt. Fuji during the summer, and makes it possible to enjoy winter hiking at Mt. Fuji with a very low level of danger related to slips and avalanches. Snow hiking under a clear winter sky along the mountainside where there are views of Mt. Fuji colored pure white is an exceptional experience!
