The warm wind from Suruga Bay is cooled as it passes over the plateau, and fog (Japanese Kiri/Giri) often forms in the mornings (Japanese: Asa) and evenings of summer, hence the name Asagiri Highland. The scenery of green meadows, cows, and Mt. Fuji is perfect for cycling. It is also a place associated with Minamoto no Yoritomo, such as the Kariyado no Gebazakura and Jinba Falls. You can also tour the World Heritage Sites of Mt. Fuji, such as Shiraito Falls and the Hitoana Fujiko Iseki Ruins. Why not explore the history of the ancient land of Fujinomiya?
※There are some areas where the road is in poor condition. Please be careful of punctures when cycling.
