CR-Izu Amagi Pass – Beautiful Izu Resort Ride

This route connects Shuzenji, a quaint hot spring town in the geographical center of Izu, Kawazu, which is famous for its cherry blossoms, Shimoda, the town known as where Japan reopened to the world, and Minamiizu on the southern tip of Izu.The highlight is Amagigoe (Amagi Crossing). A course that allows you to fully enjoy beautiful Izu, which has a variety of landscapes such as rich forests, beautiful rivers and the emerald-green sea. There are many famous hot spring resorts and sightseeing spots in the surrounding area, as well as an abundance of unique and delicious local food. It's also fun to stop and walk around while enjoying everything this area has to offer. There are many shops with bike racks along the course, making it very friendly for cyclists. On the way back, you can take the cycle train from Shuzenji Station and Izukyu-Shimoda Station, and the cycle rack bus from Kawazu Station, making it very convenient.
