This course starts at Seikenji temple, one of the most famous temples in Tokaido, built in the Nara period. The Old Tokaido Course crosses Satta Pass, known as the best view point of Mt. Fuji on the Tokaido Road, then passes through the townscape of Yui-juku on the Tokaido Road, which was popular in the Edo period, and ends at Yui Honjin, which is reminiscent of a time in the past.
