Akino Fuku Museum

Akino Fuku Museum is located on the green hill overlooking the city of Futamata, opened in April 1998 in order to enhance the culture of the city. The unique museum designed by Fujimori Terunobu with stucco-covered walls and using natural materials. The first floor has a permanent exhibition hall, and the second offers special exhibits, the town citizens’ gallery, classrooms and others. The works of the late master artist Akino are introduced, and space is provided for the artistic activities of the town population.
