Kinomiya Shrine

It is believed that if you walk on the pathway around the camphor tree of more than 2000 years old and 24 meter around, designated as national natural treasure, you will have one-year-longer span of life. Some are overwhelmed by its dignity, and others feel comforted with its presence. Lots of people come also for abstinence from alcohol and smoking. They sell cute amulets for fateful meeting, and “Kogashi Manju” for 100 at Oyasumi-dokoro the food stall.
